It's so lovely to read all the positive comments on here about West Monkton! I am sad to be leaving you after five years but I have lots of fond memories that I shall take with me - especially the legendary two years of Herons/Meerkats who are now all grown-up in Year 6!! :-)

hi guys, year seven is hard, especially now I have gone and fractured my wrist on friday playing football. I saved the goal though. Hero I know!! But also I dont have to do writing(yey) and homework(yey) or P.E (ohhhh) i bet you guys are thinking cool eh word of wisdom its not it really hurts...

Year 6 is my last year then off to Heathfield. Miss Elliott is such a great teacher thank you.

Our school is brilliant. There is no better school and all the teachers are really nice. I don't want to leave in two years time. I love it here.

I really like this school even better then my old school. I have made a friend called Chloe Hazell in Barn Owl and my favourite teacher is Miss Kelland!

Hiya guys. Heathfield is amazing I love it there. The lessons are hard and I miss primary. I still talk to most of the girls - none of the boys though they are just unsociable. I miss being in year 6 where we all used to talk but I have made some new friends. I will never forget the friends I had at primary school they are all great. So were all the teachers. I miss Mr Prinn the most as he was the last teacher I had and it was so funny when we were making Christmas cards and we were using sharp knifes to cut the really thick card. He told us not to cut ourselves and he ended up cutting himself. I will come back soon to see all you teachers and to say hi and I wish you all the best.

I really like my class and my friends.I enjoy playing with Ollie and Remy.

miss elliot is really cool and I am so looking forward to heathfield and the extension of the play ground is terrific.
But it is a shame we have to go in a few months.

I really like the idea about the playground being extended, so hopefully there will be more room to run around in and play footie. Just to add to all of you who said we won't have the best teacher we've got Miss Elliott who's even better. [no offence to the over teachers]

Hi everyone! I used to go to this school and it is an amazing school! All the teachers are funny [well Mr Prinn has his occasions!] and it hasa great reputation aswell! [no offence Mr Prinn]

I have enjoyed looking at this website seeing as I went to West Monkton four years ago now- it seems only yesterday that I was a pupil there myself! It's a shame to see that old teachers I use to know have left but it's great to know that everyone is getting on well.

This is rather weird!!! I used to go here, and I'm about to go into year 11 at Heathfield!! It's quite sad all my teachers have left, especially Mr Needle!!

I like the website because we can look at the school when we are off or on an inset day

Excellent work "ZABARDAST" in URDU meaning FANTASTIC in english.I am really pleased that my children are part of this extremely good school,I greatly respect all the teachers who make the school what it is today according to NAWFAL "The coolest place to be" . West Monkton Primary is a great school. The staff and children are very friendly and will make you feel welcome. At playtime its great too because there is lots of play-equipment to use.
