We always use our initiative. |
In Penguin Class, we also have a ‘Star of the Day’. This award is given to someone who has made an extra effort in class. Privileges of this position include sitting on a special chair, changing the traffic lights, doing extra jobs and even picking games for the whole class to play!
Children are rewarded with having ‘Happy ˝ Hour’ for 30 minutes every Friday. Their good behaviour is celebrated and they are allowed to choose their activity.
The children would like to tell you the best thing about being in Penguin Class:
"I like having a ‘Star of the Day’ because you get to sit on a special chair which has a golden cushion. You also get to do lots of jobs."
"I like being in Penguin Class because there are lots of new fun things to do!"
"One of the best parts of being in Penguin Class is learning how to play a brass instrument."
